We had a very pleasant stay at Veld View. The place is amazing! The surroundings are green and quiet, you have a feeling of a rural area, despite it only being 40 minutes driving to Auckland City. The bed was very comfy so I had my best sleep ever. The bathroom is very stylish and the whole unit has been designed with attention to detail and the care of guests in mind. I would highly recommend this place.

Everything superb in this fully self-contained accommodation. From the welcoming, to the plentiful breakfast supplies, to the fully equipped kitchen, to the comfortable bed with lovely linen, even a fully equipped laundry should you need it, and the relaxing country views to wake up to.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful retreat and escape the children for a night. It was well worth it as the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the accommodation was absolutely stunning. We loved the cosy and modern atmosphere, with all the necessities right on hand, if needed. It was superbly clean and tidy and the “veld views” certainly didn’t disappoint, as all you could see, first thing in the morning, were fields of green. This is a lovely B&B, in an absolutely stunning location and we would highly recommend it to everyone!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful property. It is brand new with high quality finishings and thoughtful decor, in a beautiful, quiet rural setting overlooking the surrounding farmland. The hosts are wonderful and have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable. Would highly recommend!

The communication was great; the house was well designed and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was fabulous; the hosts were friendly yet allowed us privacy. With its tranquil rural outlook this property was the perfect place for our holiday.

Easy contact-less check-in. Very friendly hosts who made themselves known and stayed for a short chat, then we were left to ourselves. Sunny afternoon was a bonus - outdoor table and chairs were well used!
Maree's place is a special spot. Some would miss it if not looking however, Tuakau is ideally located close to Port Waikato (great surf) & the mighty Waikato river (stunning) so any trip here will be a great spot if you love nature & water activities! It's the cleanest Air BnB we have ever stayed at & Maree's special touches really made our weekend. It's spacious, light and warm & has everything you need for a weekend or longer. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Thankyou Maree for making our weekend a relaxing & enjoyable stay in Waikato.
We couldn't recommend this place more highly, it's spacious, modern and really well equipped. There is everything you need in a beautiful farm setting. Easy access to the whole Franklin District and the main state highway. The little treats provided are a beautiful touch on top of an already amazing property.

This property is exceptional. Perfect set up and everything Is presented so well. The beds are super comfortable, the ensuites are luxurious and the breakfast is yummy and very generous proportions. I highly recommended this bed and breakfast accommodation.

The property was quiet and peaceful, only a quiet train occasionally in the distance. Very modern facilities. We came in winter, and the heat pump was a great addition, to plenty of warm bedding. There was enough parking for 2-3 cars. Close to Hampton downs, and Bombay shopping area, great for track weekends.

Stunning accommodation, clean fresh and new. Beautifully equipped and comfortable. Very clever design with 2 units both having 2 en suited bedrooms that are separated and quiet. Very comfortable beds in all bedrooms. Wifi provided too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Veld View. It was quiet, with a lovely outlook and everything was clean and well presented. The amenities (breakfast supplies, fresh fruit, coffee/tea and shower toiletries etc) were much appreciated and of good quality. Although we didn't get to meet Maree due to our busy schedule, her communication, including check-in instructions, were excellent. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful spot. The hosts have put a lot of effort into making the stay as comfortable as possible and everything is well equipped. Very thoughtful touches such as fresh fruit and cookies. I had a porta cot for my child and Maree very kindly rearranged the bed/bedside tables to make sure I had room. We were very comfortable. Thank you for having us!
